Elsie Mae Zeigler House is a residential group home in Ocala, Florida, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for at-risk youth. We serve children and adolescents who are vulnerable to homelessness, neglect, abuse, and human trafficking.
We serve children and adolescents referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and other local agencies. Our home is open to foster children, youth in crisis, and those at risk of exploitation and abuse.
We offer three core services:
At-Risk House – A protective space for children at risk of sex trafficking and abuse.
Emergency Shelter – Short-term housing for children in crisis, available 24/7.
Residential Group Home – Long-term care providing emotional, physical, and social support.
We provide trauma-informed care, focusing on emotional healing and personal growth. Our staff includes experienced child protective professionals and case managers who are deeply committed to the well-being of every child.
